Men's manicure in Paris: how it works, step by step
Damaged nails, dry cuticles, hands that work hard: more and more men are walking into a nail salon for a simple, polish-free treatment that leaves the hands clean and well kept. Here, on video, is a complete men's manicure at Kim Nails.
The men's manicure in 10 steps
The client in the video arrives with dirty, damaged nails: “I really needed a good manicure”. Here is what is done, in order:
- Nail trimming on both hands.
- Filing to give a clean, even shape.
- Block cleaning and a light buff of the nail surface.
- Warm-water soak to soften the skin around the nail.
- Cuticles pushed back with a small metal tool.
- Electric e-file pass to define the edges before the cuticles are cut.
- Cuticle trimming and removal of dead skin, with precision.
- Buffing for a smooth, slightly shiny nail.
- Oil on the cuticles to nourish them.
- Hand massage to finish gently.
The result
Neat, clean, natural nails: no colour, no polish, just well-kept hands. It is the “invisible” manicure, discreet at the office and on a date.
Why a manicure is not just for women
- Clean, well-kept hands, which show at a handshake, a meeting or a meal.
- Dry cuticles and rough skin treated, to avoid small tears and the urge to pick.
- A moment of calm, with a hand massage at the end.
Men's hand care: prices

- Manicure and spa foot care for men (soak, scrub, moisturising cream): €50.
- Coloured polish, if you would like it: 15 min, €15.

Men's manicure and pedicure, before or after the barber
Many men combine the manicure with foot care: that is our hands-and-feet package, with a soak, scrub and moisturising cream. It also pairs well with a visit to the barber: a sharp haircut and a trimmed beard, and neat hands to finish the look. We are not a barber, but we take care of your hands and feet.
